Pure MMA Fighting

Pure MMA Fighting presents mixed martial arts bouts in “Genesis” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in Villa Park.
 
Twelve fights comprise the event in the Odeum Sports and Expo Center, 1033 N. Villa Ave. The main event showcases two undefeated heavyweights: Gabe Salinas vs. Tim “The Kurgan” Nevinger. The co-main event features middleweights Ryan Storey (4-1) vs. Jeremy Godina (4-0). The night also presents a charity match-up — between Pat Moran, a firefighter with the Chicago Fire Department, and Larry Linderman, an Illinois law enforcement agent — donations will be made to each organization’s respective philanthropy.
