ABOUT LOLITA
Back in 2001 Lolita went out on a girl’s night out and ordered drinks with her dear friends. For such a special night out, she noticed that the glasses looked naked and needed something. The artist in her was crying out! The next day she decided that she was going to start hand-painting and selling glasses out of her basement. With two toddlers hanging onto her legs she worked night and day. She’d sell about 2,000 glasses a year. Today, she sells over 4 million. Glasses go for $25 and can be purchased at Von Maur’s or www.thelolitastore.com. For more information about Lolita, visit www.designsbylolita.com.
In the Spring of 2010, Lolita will be launching her new textile line consisting of aprons, bedding, table cloths, shower curtains and aprons. She also has a line of scented gel candles.
