Vintage Cottage Holiday Market to include tea time and Santa
The Vintage Cottage Holiday Market is gathering a selection of “best in the Midwest” in antiques, vintage home décor and artists’ goods for the home. Seen in Romantic Homes and Auction Action Antique News, exhibitors from Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan will bring the best of their work to Western Springs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
Two historic buildings — the 100-year-old Village Club and Grand Avenue Community Center, both on the corner of Chestnut Street and Lawn Avenue at 4221 Lawn Ave. — will be filled with antiques and artist goods and will provide an intimate setting for the market.

The show has been featured in Romantic Homes magazine. SUBMITTED IMAGE
The second floor of the Village Club will offer a full-service holiday tea room. Set with holiday linen, china and silver, the Vintage Tea Room will serve a full tea menu of teas, tea sandwiches and a sweet table. Open seating is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Our own vintage Santa will be at the market all day, so bring your camera and have him help you choose a Christmas gift for that special mom, sister, husband or daughter on your list,” says shopowner Barbara Murphy Rozner, who notes that among the antiques and featured goods will be works created by artists using vintage components.
Show admission costs $5. For more information, call (708) 246-2034 or visit the shop in Western Springs at 917 Burlington Ave. or www.barbsvintagecottage.com.

Will be unable to attend the Nov.7th tea and was wondering if you will be having another in the near future.
Thanks, Donna
