Noble Fool's 'It's a Wonderful Life' auditions for teens

The Noble Fool Theatricals Performing Arts Academy is looking for local teen actors ages 13 to 18 to play in their upcoming production of "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles.

Open auditions will be held on the Preservation Hall Studio Stage from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20 and from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. No appointment is necessary.

Interested teens should prepare and memorize a one-minute monologue that best displays their talent. Actors may also be asked to do a cold reading from the script. Everyone should bring a headshot and a resume.

Inspired by the classic American film, the fateful story of George Bailey will come to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast.

The NFT Youth Ensemble will present "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" for the public at Pheasant Run on the following dates: Dec. 5 & 6, 12 & 13, 19 & 20 and 26 & 27.
