Family Fun in Wood Dale

TopGolf Chicago in Wood Dale is all about the family entertainment experience, which is why they are introducing their inaugural Family Fun Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 30-31.

The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. each day.

TopGolf is the new game in golf that people of all ages and skill levels can play. One of just three facilities in the country, TopGolf is a three-tiered outdoor entertainment center featuring computerized microchips in every golf ball and where points are scored on shots that successfully enter a selection of targets ranging from 20 - 250 yards.

During Family Fun Weekend, families can take part in junior group golf lessons, snow cones, cotton candy, a photo booth and inflatable jumping castle, all for free.

Also featured will be a special golf trick shot show by Peter Longo, also known as "The King of Clubs," at 3 p.m. on Sunday. And a mini golf tournament will be held throughout the weekend with proceeds benefiting Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Illinois.
